If maintained regularly, BMW F30 can be a very reliable daily runner for years. F30 was redesigned completely, with an all-new frame and interior. F30 is very nimble to drive and loaded with tons of tech and safety features. Very sturdy in build quality and a solid car to use in routine & tough conditions.

I got a CPO. With my past 5 BMWs, yes, it most DEFINITELY has been worth upgrading later, than at the dealership. The labor is "medium difficulty." And the cost has no comparison to "out of the dealership". It's always been a couple thousand dollar difference, at least. - '92 E36. - '99 E46. - '06 E90. - '15 F30.

We don’t love the electronic steering when compared to the previous E90 generation power steering. However, the BMW F30 still handle better on paper and in the real world. For most, the ultimate deciding factors likely come down to a balance of price, reliability, performance, and tuning capabilities.
